Who am I?
I’m a communications professional who helps clients tell their stories. After working for more than thirty years in agency roles and as a client – and sometimes as a freelance consultant – I’m bringing that experience to bear in the area where it can most turn the dial: the creation of persuasive copy and compelling content.
Why me?
My passion for words hasn’t come from a background in English or journalism (Except that time I was a magazine editor for a year. (True story.)) No, it’s been forged in the fires of business. I’ve been a webcaster, a global communications director, a business founder and owner. I’ve helped grow an organisation and take it to sale. And in every role, I’ve focused on the stories that needed telling, and ensured those stories were authentic, compelling and unforgettable.
Why do I do it?
My mission is to help clients build audiences, attract or retain clients or colleagues, and supercharge their organisations. While I’ve worked with many different organisations, I have specialisms in the creative industries and digital transformation. Personally, I’m interested in sustainability and social justice.
